Sound Stitching

I spent a week tucked away in the ferns and old growth redwoods of Mason County at the Holly House with the Hypathia-in-the-Woods residency. It was a beautiful time to be witness the radiant beauty of the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. My primary project was recording sounds and experimenting with translating the experience to stitch. During the week I collected four sounds and stitches.
